MEMBERSHIP

Curtain Raisers are a well-established local amateur dramatic group, offering the opportunity for both experienced performers/ backstage crew and newcomers to get involved in a friendly, enthusiastic club. We are always on the look out for people who have the talent, or would like to learn how to do any of the following:

operate lights and/or sound,
make scenery,
organise props,
costumes
make-up
stage manage,
co-ordinate productions,
direct,
get involved on committee
act, sing and/or dance

The club also holds regular social events - in the past these have included play readings, barbeques, treasure hunts, pub evenings, quiz nights and the essential after-show parties! These events are sometimes run as 'fund-raisers' to help with club costs and production fees.

Membership Fees: payable annually in January
Adults: £10
Family: £15
Students, under 18s: £5
